PoCs

Definitions

From this page you can create and update PoCs. When you modify a PoC you must run it from the dashboard page to propagate the modifications.

Snapshots

Here you can see a flat list of PoC snapshots. You can erase a snapshot.

Warning

As snapshots can be stacked (each time you create a snapshot after another snapshot), erasing a snapshot can break the stack. Actually no verification is performed by FortiPoC.

Logs

The Logs page show you the generated logs during some FortiPoC operation (like the launch).

By default you see the latest log of the currently running PoC.

In the list of log, you can select older one to view it.

Licenses

Under the licenses page you can upload licenses for Fortinet products.

Click on the import icon. It opens a form. Click on Choose File button to select license’s files from your host disk. License’s files can be lic files or zip archive of lic files. Then click the Import button.

The window displays the list of imported license file. Click on Close button to close the modal window.

You can modify some information related to a license by clicking the edit icon. But in general case you shouldn’t.

Available fields are:

  • the identifier

  • the type for the type of device, same as image type

  • the lic is the identifier keyword found in the license

  • the number of CPU Core for this license, 1 by default (not used yet)

  • the VMUUID bounded with this license, if empty the one defined in the PoC is used

  • the management IP address as registered in support site (not used yet)

Important

  • you can NOT view the license (to avoid unauthorized copy of license)

  • you can only have one copy of a given license uploaded to a FortiPoC at a time

You can erase a license by clicking the trash icon next to the license, or purge all licenses with the table’s last line trash icon. It doesn’t affect a running PoC using these licenses until next launch.
